La Paz.- As part of the actions to reactivate the tourism sector, the Ministry of Tourism, Economy, and Sustainability (Setues), continues with the work of promoting Baja California Sur in the main markets, said the head of the agency Luis Humberto Araiza López.
The above by announcing that the destinations of La Paz, Loreto, and Los Cabos are promoted in the webinar “Virtuoso Travel Week Latin America“, one of the most important events for luxury tourism worldwide, and which provides the opportunity to establish business appointments with travel agents focused on this segment.
In this sense, he stressed that within this framework the attractions, services, and offers that BCS has to meet the demands of this market were made known, remembering that Los Cabos is considered the most exclusive destination in the country.
He also highlighted that Loreto and La Paz have strengthened and increased their competitiveness in this area, so that, through a promotional video, Destination Training, all the benefits, and virtues that both destinations have were disseminated.
The Secretary recognized the work of the Tourism Promotion Trusts, by redoubling efforts and making use of technology to continue positioning BCS as the best destination in the Mexican Pacific.
Finally, Araiza López pointed out, “We have proven to be a resilient state with a great capacity for adaptation. The sanitary measures and protocols that we are implementing in conjunction with businesspeople and providers in the industry, encourage us to work to attract more visitors and strengthen our presence in the international tourism market. BCS continues to be a world-class destination, ”he commented.
