Entrepreneurs from El Médano get ready to receive Los Cabos Spring Breakers

Through a joint work with the local authorities, the El Médano Business Association is prepared to receive tourists this Spring Break and Easter season, strengthening all the necessary security protocols to safeguard the health of visitors.

Derived from the change of the Covid traffic light last Monday, March 1, which positions Baja California Sur at level 3 yellow, an increase in tourists is expected for this high season, so not only will the established protocols be maintained, but it will also be reinforced each procedure both in terms of hygiene and public safety.

“In order to coordinate and generate agreements, the El Médano Business Association has established permanent contact with the Coordinating Council, the Hotel Association and the Restaurant Chamber, in order to ensure compliance with each protocol and security measure,” he commented. One of the main activities will be the provision of face masks that will be delivered to passers-by in the area, who do not wear it at the moment, in the same way in restaurants and hotels, efforts will be redoubled in terms of safety and hygiene through the implementation of protocols, thus avoiding the crowding of people at all times and respecting the capacity allowed by the authority.

“Despite the fact that this year the expected economic spill will not be the same as previous years, thanks to the effort and joint work, an economic recovery has been observed in the area that has helped to cushion the devastating effects that the pandemic has left” added Leonardo Perli.
