Despite the fact that September is considered the low season for tourism in Los Cabos, this past month, the flow of international visitors grew by 39.6 percent, which represents the largest increase so far this year.
The Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico (GAP) revealed that, during September 2021, the Los Cabos International Airport received 235 thousand international passengers, while, in the same month, but in 2019, there was a record of 168 thousand foreign visitors.
From January to September 2021, Los Cabos has received a total of 2 million 462 thousand passengers by international air and 1 million 445 thousand national visitors, however; the figures for this period in this year have not been able to exceed those of 2019.
It should be remembered that, from January to August 2021, Los Cabos Airport was positioned as the third place to receive the most international tourists from the country. The tourist destination continues to position itself as a reference for tourism at the national level.
