Cabo outraged as the body of Nayeli Guerrero missing since Oct 14th, was found dead in San José del Cabo

Sources within the State Attorney General’s Office (PGJE) confirmed to Primero BCS that a woman found dead inside a business in the central neighborhood of San José del Cabo was identified as Nayeli Guerrero.

The 36-year-old woman was reported missing and was seen for the last time on Thursday, October 14 at 3 in the afternoon when she left her home, since then nothing has been known about her whereabouts.

Last Sunday morning the woman’s body was located by State Criminal Investigations elements and experts assigned to the Directorate of Expert Services, face-down on a mattress, tied hands and feet, and in a state of decomposition.

According to information obtained by this means, the cause of the woman’s death was mechanical asphyxia by strangulation. The agent of the Public Ministry of the Specialized Unit for the Investigation and Judicialization of Criminal Homicide started the corresponding Investigation File and continues with the investigations to clarify the facts.

In social networks, the citizens of Los Cabos have already spoken out in this regard demanding justice for the femicide of Nayeli, who was a florist and animal rescuer known for her gentle work with the most defenseless.
