María del Carmen Aguilar posted the photos on her Facebook account. They show her wearing the shirt at the “Cleanup Day at Laguna Azul Park,” as well as at an event with residents of the Solidaridad neighborhood, according to the publication, to carry out reforestation activities.
The councilwoman also wore the shirt to the meeting of the “Committee for the Defense of the Esterito,” held in the City Council Chamber. In the shared photographs, other council members can be seen, including one photo of her alongside Félix Abraham Almendáriz Puppo, the tenth council member.
On the social media platform X, there has been criticism of the councilwoman for her lack of awareness in wearing a shirt alluding to the drug trafficker, imprisoned and sentenced in the United States.
