From October 1st to 3rd, the Montage Los Cabos Hotel will host the 17th edition of the Aeroméxico Golf Tournament, a sporting event that, beyond bringing together athletes and allies, has a central purpose: to raise funds for social causes.

The tournament will be played on the exclusive Twin Dolphin Club course and will feature professional golfer Gaby López, in addition to the support of Comex as the official sponsor.

In this edition, the funds raised will be allocated to two foundations working on key issues in the country: Fundación Freedom, dedicated to combating, preventing, and raising awareness about child trafficking, exploitation, and sexual abuse, and Zentro FDVT A.C., which promotes the mental health and well-being of young people through healthy habits and open dialogue on topics such as substance use and suicide prevention.

During the presentation conference, Andrés Castañeda, Executive Vice President of Digital and Customer Experience at Aeroméxico, underscored the importance of this initiative:

“This tournament is not only a sporting celebration, but a way to join forces to transform realities. By supporting Fundación Freedom and Zentro, we reaffirm our commitment to contributing to a safer, more conscious Mexico with more opportunities for new generations. We are proud that Aeroméxico can transcend the flight to leave a positive mark on society.”

In addition to Castañeda, representatives from both foundations were present, who agreed that supporting initiatives like this is vital to raising awareness about issues that often remain hidden, from child exploitation to youth suicide prevention.

Golfer Gaby López also highlighted the importance of sport as a vehicle for well-being and as a tool to drive positive changes in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults.

With this new edition, Aeroméxico consolidates its golf tournament as a sporting tradition with social impact, rallying efforts to generate tangible change and reminding everyone that sport, beyond competition, can also be a source of hope.
