Los Cabos has become the epicenter of golf in Mexico. It currently boasts 17 golf courses, 12 of which are among the top 20 in the country, according to Golf Digest’s Best Golf Courses Mexico 2024 ranking.

Two of these courses appear on the prestigious list of the 100 best in the world:

The Dunes Course at Diamante (ranked 47)
Cove Club (ranked 100)

This level of infrastructure has allowed Los Cabos to host the PGA Tour’s World Wide Technology Championship, an event previously held at the El Camaleón course in Mayakoba, Playa del Carmen, for 15 consecutive years.

DIVERSITY OF COURSES AND LEGENDARY DESIGN

The golf offering in Los Cabos is divided into different categories:

8 public courses: Solmar Golf Links, Cabo San Lucas Country Club, Cabo del Sol, Cabo Real Golf Club, Palmilla Golf Club (9 holes), Club Campestre San José, Vidanta Los Cabos, and Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club.
3 resort-style courses: Quivira Golf Club (Pueblo Bonito), Palmilla Golf Club, Costa Palmas (Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos).
5 courses with limited availability: El Cardonal by TGR (Diamante Resort), The Fines Course, The Oasis Shorts Course, Twin Dolphins Golf Course, and Chileno Bay Golf Course.
3 completely private courses: Cove Club, Querencia, and El Dorado.
Additionally, three courses are under construction that promise to further raise the competitive level: Quivira Los Cabos, The Legacy, and Oleada Cabo San Lucas.
