The annual “Friends of Palmilla 2026” golf tournament will be held in San José del Cabo, Los Cabos, on Friday, March 13th, to benefit the Children’s Club of Baja California Sur and the Rotary Club of Los Cabos scholarship program.
Eduardo Regules, who collaborates in organizing the event and participates in these charity tournaments every year, announced that the organizers are these two charitable organizations that benefit children in the state, along with Del Mar, Hatfield Company, and the One & Only Palmilla hotel.
The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is open to the public who want to play golf and compete on this private course.
He added that after the tournament, there will be an awards cocktail reception at the Palmilla Social Club where, in addition to the awards ceremony, there will be a silent auction, all to raise funds for the two non-profit organizations.
They stated that this is the second tournament of its kind, but Amigos de Palmilla (Friends of Palmilla) has already organized other fundraising events like this one, always entirely for the benefit of and taking advantage of the generosity of the entire Palmilla community, the businessman emphasized.
He explained that the tournament format consists of teams of four players, both men and women.
“The invitation is extended to the general public to register and take advantage of this unique opportunity to play on an exclusive course while enjoying a game of golf for a good cause, with 100% of the proceeds going to charity,” said Eduardo Regules.
He reported that registration for the tournament costs just over 5,000 pesos, or $350 USD per player ($150 USD for members of the Palmilla Golf Club) in teams of four.
He added that it is not necessary to have four people to register; Those who do not complete a team will be paired with other players, as this is a tournament that seeks to promote camaraderie and support for good causes.
