Following the elimination of the National Tourism Development Fund (FONATUR), hotel owners in Los Cabos are warning of a deterioration in the tourism infrastructure that was formerly part of the Integrated Planned Centers, pointing to a lack of maintenance in areas key to the destination’s economic activity.

According to the Los Cabos Hotel Association, this situation has generated concern among service providers. Mauricio Salicrup, representing the association, reported that, along with the timeshare association, they met with the National Port System Administration in Baja California Sur.
