La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). The State Attorney General’s Office (PGJE) of Baja California Sur, managed to determine that 4 subjects exerted violence on a 60-year-old male, of foreign nationality; They were accused of depriving him of his freedom for financial gain.
The above, after this Wednesday, December 6, the testimonial, expert, documentary and material evidence was presented by the agents of the Public Ministry of the Special Unit for Investigation of Kidnapping Crime, managing to obtain the conviction against the men for the crime of kidnapping aggravated by depriving the victim of his freedom.
As a result of the procedures carried out by the agents, it was proven that on November 10, 2021, the subjects identified as Juan Adolfo “N”, Javier Agustín “N”, Natividad “N” and Manuel “N”, raided a home located in Todos Santos and, with violence, they loaded the victim, a 60-year-old man, against the will of a pick-up vehicle, where they transported him to a home in the Calafia neighborhood, in the city of La Paz.
In this place they kept him captive, tied by his feet, for 3 days, during which time they made phone calls to relatives, demanding payment of 500,000 dollars for the ransom, however, it was not necessary to hand over the money, since – thanks to intelligence work—they managed to locate him and rescue him alive.
During the oral trial, the social representation presented various evidence that was compelling for the judicial authority to issue a conviction against him.
It is important to note that next Wednesday, December 13, Juan Adolfo “N”, Javier Agustín “N”, Natividad “N” and Manuel “N”, will learn the sentence that the Prosecution Court will impose on them in the hearing to individualize sanctions.
