Of the 72 cases of people with dengue in the municipality, 24 are in delicate health
Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.- Of the 72 cases of people with dengue in the municipality of Los Cabos, 51 are in Cabo San Lucas being in the colony Lomas del Sol in Cabo San Lucas where there is a greater accumulation of infections.
The Head of the Health Jurisdiction 04 in Los Cabos, Ulises Melendres López, reported that it is a priority that citizens take into consideration the recommendations to be able to reduce the cases instead of going up.
In San José del Cabo there are 21 cases, which have been detected in the colonies Santa Rosa, Vista Hermosa and Zacatal, so the cycles of fumigations are being intensified, as these places are where there is a greater number of people suffering from this disease that is transmitted by the bite of the infected mosquito.
He reported that the thermo nebulizations were restarted this Thursday in San José del Cabo, working hand in hand with the public services brigades that are in charge of applying the descacharrization days where the red spots are.
To be more effective, it is required to remove all the weeds, clean places where water can accumulate and stand up to the growth and proliferation of the mosquito to reduce the cases of infected people.
He said that the work is carried out in coordination with the Municipal Health Directorate and according to the statistics shared by Melendres López, of the 72 patients with dengue 27 are with warning signs, being mostly minors.
