201

Los Cabos, globally recognized for its achievements in culinary, tourist, ecological, and luxury experiences, consolidates itself as the next fashion venue in Mexico with the arrival of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Los Cabos, The Luxury Edition, which will be held from April 2 to 6 at Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort.

The event seeks not only to boost creative industries but also to promote the tourist spaces of the cities it visits. Supported by the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, the destination will be promoted from a luxury and fashion perspective, with the purpose of bringing this experience that unites the national with the international to local audiences.

In a context of inclusivity and international diversity, Saudi Arabia will be the stellar guest, showcasing the richness of styles and new perspectives that are defining fashion in those coordinates.

During the days of activity, the firms Abel López, Alfredo Martínez, Kris Goyri, and Sandra Weil will be presented.

From Saudi Arabia and The Saudi Fashion Commission, six of their 100 designers will participate: Dazluq and Khawla Al Aiban, in an individual format, and a collective exhibition of Kaf by Kaf, NH Designer, Nora Al Shaikh, and Waad Aloqali.

“Our participation in Mexico signifies our dedication to fostering cultural exchange and nurturing meaningful connections with nations that share common traits with Saudi Arabia. With the journey to Mexico of six brands from our Saudi 100 Brand program, we intend to showcase the diverse talents and exceptional products from our vibrant region. This event serves as a platform for discovery, as we invite the global community to explore the richness of our cultural heritage and embrace the innovative spirit that drives our local brands. Together, we embark on a journey of mutual appreciation and collaboration, uniting cultures and celebrating limitless creativity that knows no borders.” – Burak Cakmak, CEO of Saudi Fashion Commission.

“Sustainability is one of the fundamental pillars in our strategy, through which we seek to be an emissions-free company by the end of this decade. Since 1995, Mercedes-Benz has established itself as a key player in the global fashion industry. Today, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is one of the main forums where we manage to bring sustainable luxury experiences to our customers. We are excited to see the future of the fashion industry and will continue to join efforts to promote new Mexican talents in this industry.” – Jaime Cohen, CEO Mercedes-Benz Mexico & Latin America.

The luxury edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Los Cabos, presented by Marriott Bonvoy Banorte, strengthens the vision of creating exhibition spaces not only for local and national audiences but also for expanding into the international market, on this occasion, Saudi Arabia as a window to the Middle East.
