Within the framework of the Navy Plan “Operation Lifeguard Summer 2024”, through the Second Naval Zone, personnel from the Naval Station for Search, Rescue and Maritime Surveillance (ENSAR) Los Cabos, carried out the rescue of four tourists, who had difficulties getting out of the sea, due to the strong waves in the vicinity of the bay of Cabo San Lucas in Baja California Sur.
This action was carried out after receiving an emergency call, so immediately personnel belonging to ENSAR Los Cabos, aboard a MLB-102 type vessel, which was conducting a maritime tour, went to the scene of the events, in order to locate and rescue the aforementioned people.
Upon arriving at the scene, naval personnel of swimmers located and rescued four people, (three of American nationality and one Mexican), proceeding to their boarding.
Likewise, Naval Health personnel provided first aid medical attention, they were later concentrated at the dock of this Naval Command, where they were found to be in good health, and then they left on their own.
