The Ovation of the Seas cruise ship, one of Royal Caribbean’s most renowned cruise ships, made an overnight stop at the Cabo San Lucas Marina with more than 6,000 passengers and crew on board. This visit allowed tourists to enjoy the natural beauty, cuisine, and services that characterize Los Cabos.
As part of the strategy to strengthen international tourism, the 15th Los Cabos City Council, through the Municipal Tourism Directorate, welcomed the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Ovation of the Seas from Los Angeles, California, which arrived at the Cabo San Lucas Marina with 6,311 passengers and crew on board.
Under the command of Captain Espen Been, the Ovation of the Seas made an overnight stop in the destination, allowing its thousands of visitors to enjoy the natural beauty, world-class cuisine, and excellent services that distinguish Los Cabos.
In a formal ceremony, municipal authorities and representatives of the shipping company held the traditional exchange of plaques, recognizing Royal Caribbean’s valuable contribution to strengthening international tourism connectivity, boosting the local economy with high-value tourism, and consolidating Los Cabos as a global premium destination.
In this regard, the Municipal Director of Tourism, Ana Gabriela Navarro González, expressed that the visit of the Ovation of the Seas, one of Royal Caribbean’s most iconic cruise ships, represents a vote of confidence in Los Cabos as a world-class destination.
“It reinforces our strategy to attract high-value tourism that benefits the entire local production chain, from restaurants and businesses to tourism service providers,” she said.
Finally, she reaffirmed the commitment of the 15th Los Cabos City Council to continue promoting actions that position the municipality as a benchmark for tourism excellence globally.
