Los Cabos is implementing the Public Management Evaluation System. The objective is to measure and analyze public institutions in relation to the fulfillment of goals, objectives, and the efficient use of resources.
This Wednesday, representing Mayor Christian Agúndez Gómez, the Secretary General of the 15th City Council, Alberto Rentería Santana, led and swore in the public servants who make up the Public Management Control and Evaluation System.
“This act represents more than a protocol; it is the full expression of a collective will to perform public service with purpose, closeness, and vocation. It is part of an effort that commits us to respond with actions to the trust of citizens,” Rentería Santana stated.
During the event, the Municipal Director of Government Innovation explained to the public servants the evaluation methods and the fundamental objectives of the system, whose purpose is to advance toward a more efficient, transparent, and results-oriented public administration.
Margarita Díaz, president of the Los Cabos Comprehensive Citizen Observatory, also participated. She highlighted the importance of these mechanisms to ensure accountability and citizen participation in the continuous improvement of the municipal government.
