Heat will once again dominate the weather in Baja California this Thursday, July 31st. High temperatures will be felt across much of the state, with no rain or gusts of wind, as the heat wave that has been affecting the region in recent weeks continues.
According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), the morning in coastal areas of Baja California, such as Ensenada, Tijuana, and Playas de Rosarito, will feature fog and partly cloudy skies, while the inland areas of the state remain with no chance of rain and higher temperatures.
Cities such as Mexicali and San Felipe, in the northeast of the state, will experience the greatest intensity of the heat wave, with highs exceeding 45 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is very important to protect yourself from extreme weather with measures such as avoiding prolonged sun exposure and staying hydrated.
Winds will also play an important role, as westerly and northwesterly currents are expected with speeds of 20 to 30 km/h (12.5 to 18.9 mph), accompanied by gusts that could reach 40 to 60 km/h (25 to 37 mph), with possible dust storms in desert areas.

In the afternoon, temperatures could range between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius (82 and 88 degrees Fahrenheit), with no rain forecast, although the wind could intensify slightly towards evening.
