On June 1st, a new direct flight between Los Cabos and Puebla began operations, an air route that aims to strengthen the national connectivity of the tourist destination and facilitate passenger travel between Baja California Sur and central Mexico.

The new connection is operated by Volaris and directly links Los Cabos International Airport with Hermanos Serdán International Airport in Puebla, eliminating layovers in other cities.

According to official information, the route will have four weekly flights, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with an approximate duration of just over two hours.

The launch of this flight is part of a strategy to expand air connectivity for Los Cabos, one of the country’s main tourist destinations, and seeks to encourage tourism, business travel, and family visits between the two regions.

Tourism sector authorities have emphasized that this new connection will bring visitors from central Mexico closer to the Baja California Sur destination, in addition to offering a new mobility option for residents of Baja California Sur.

The Los Cabos–Puebla route joins the new connections promoted during 2026 to strengthen the tourist and economic presence of the municipality.
