San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur. In a press conference, the organizing committee confirmed that the Sierra de Los Cabos Children’s Sport Fishing Tournament will take place on February 17.
This tournament, being aimed at children, will start with a teaching dynamic. On the same February 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the María Corona Restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, a “Sport Fishing Clinic” will be held.
Later, the registration of participants will take place from 12:00 to 15:00, it should be noted that those who have not attended the clinic will not be able to participate. There will be no registration fee and a team of 4 children fishermen will be allowed, nor will there be any restriction for the type of boats.
It will be only one day of fishing, on Sunday February 18 with a starting shot at 07:00 am; lines out of the water 2:00 pm and finally open scale from 01:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Griselda’s Smoke House The award ceremony will take place at 3:00 pm, at Baja Cantina restaurant.
The species to be caught will be Sierra and there will be no minimum weight. The first places will receive 4 laptops or tablets.
