Intensive Courses for Tourist Guides to be Implemented in Cabo San Lucas

An intensive diploma for tourist guides will be implemented in Cabo San Lucas; classes start on June 3rd.

La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). The Ministry of Tourism and Economy (Sectur) of Baja California Sur announced that an intensive diploma for tourist guides and interpreters will be implemented in Cabo San Lucas; the training begins on June 3rd, 2024.

“The College of Tourist Guides and Heritage Interpreters invites you to be part of the Intensive Diploma based on the NOM-08-TUR-2002; acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities to obtain the guide credential issued by Sectur,” detailed in a publication.

The course will be taught by the College of Tourists and Heritage Interpreters, where students will gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to obtain the guide credential issued by Sectur.

Furthermore, it was mentioned that the diploma will be taught based on the NOM-08-TUR-2002 and will last 13 weeks, with a schedule from 17:00 to 22:00 hours, Monday through Friday.
