Maintenance and repair work will limit supplies

A drinking water leak was reported at the section between Twin Dolphin and Cabo del Sol, prompting the Los Cabos Drinking Water Operation and Maintenance team to move to the area to assess the pipe damage and begin repair work.

The neighborhoods that will be affected during the pipe repair and service restoration work are as follows: Mesa Colorada, Llantera el gordo, Rancho Paraíso, Universidad de Tijuana, Mar Mediterráneo, Las Misiones, Los Ciruelos, Puesta del Mar, Vista de Cabo, Vista Real, and Vista Velas Phase I.

The work is expected to be completed by 18:00 hours this Monday to resume the supply of drinking water to the mentioned neighborhoods during the early hours of Tuesday, March 26, without affecting the schedule of the remaining neighborhoods that depend on this drinking water line with days of delay.

Lastly, citizens are asked to take precautions when traveling through that section of the Transpeninsular highway to avoid accidents and ensure that the Operator’s personnel successfully complete the repair of the leak; appreciation for their understanding is also expressed, and they are reminded that the work is being done for their benefit.
